I still haven't seen a blue ray movie. I'm sure it is amazing. If I ever get a blue ray player you can bet the first movies I buy will the the Rambo's.

What about the RAMBO III DVD picture quality? Scratches, spots and speckles?

Man they need to release a box set of all 4 movies on blu-ray. I don't have a blu-ray player or HD tv yet. I guess I am still waiting to see if HD-DVD or Blu-Ray will win, but it's starting to look like blu-ray is winning.

I'm hoping I don't have to buy another format other than DVD for a few more years since I have about 1600 DVD's and all. But when the time finally comes and I have to choose a new format I gotta get the Rocky and Rambo collections first.

It will take a lot of time before "usual" DVDs would be really useless. What about the picture quality of the 'RAMBO III' Ultimate Edition? Do you like it?

It's alright, not as mind-blowing as it could've been but it looked better than my VHS copy. The weird thing about Rambo III for me on the UE DVD is how they changed the subtitles look. You can tell there's a difference between the subtitles in the film and in the deleted scenes they show in the extras portions.

Excuse me, Raven:
Did you see scratches, spots and speckles on the picture quality?
And what about the PICTURE quality of the deleted scenes as well?

Picture quality on the deleted scenes were about "rough cut" quality I'd say. Spot, scratches, speckles were on those. I saw little to none of that on the film itself.

I saw little to none of that on the film itself. Where, precisely? At what points? MMMmmmmm so we CAN'T consider those deleted scenes as *CANON*. Food for thoughts, even.

I can't really recall since it's been a while since I last viewed Rambo III. Next time I view it I'll tell ya. Hope there is NO damage on the print. I mean, it's an ULTIMATE EDITION, for Christs sake !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have no doubts that 'RAMBO III' will look fantastic on BLUE-RAY.

Everything will look fantastic on Blue-Ray. I for one can't wait for the day WWE starts making Blue-Ray discs. Then I can view Hogan slamming Andre in that type of picture quality.
