As most of you guys on here know, I have been collecting costume replicas of Rambo's outfit from First Blood. I have three versions I just wanted to let you know that I have bought one of the three mannequins (not the one I have my Police collection on), that will be displaying the three looks that Iam going for, which are:
1) Initial costume M65 combat jacket, sleeping bag etc.
2) Dirtied costume with headband, tarp, knife and power flex.
and 3) Final scene dirtied clothes with Trautman's trench coat draped over the shoulders, I may even try and see if the arms will come close enough to add screen accurate handcuffs.
I may also construct a 4th, with bullet bandoleer and M60 (replica) I have already done a deal for inert M60 rounds on a feed belt, and i can get a deactivated replica from the same guy for about $500, but this wont be for a month or so, as funds are tight at mo with the new arrival
On the base of each mannequin, I will add a brass plaque, which will have the 'First Blood' logo on it. The mannequins will also be wearing wigs, which will be cut and styled to try and get close to Sly's look as possible, the same goes for stubble and sideburns. Once I have all 3 completed I will post pics. It took me a while to find mannequins with a good stance, as most of the ones I looked at had silly poses
Mannequin arrived today, just awaiting the wig, and the tools to add the other features.
