I don't think they are Tanker boots in Rambo III! But Scorpion desert boots! Look them up and you'll see the differance.

They are close, but not close enough. It might be that they were specially made for the movie, or they are a very rare boot.

Here are some pics of my 'work in progress' Rambo First Blood part 2 display. Its going to be mounted in a wall mountable display case. The I have sent my compound bow off to be modified, to make it more screen accurate. I have a lot of this stuff since 1988. The dagger is unfortunately not a Lile, but a UC dagger that I adapted. The Rambo 3 knife wont be in the display, as wont the screen accurate Rambo 4 arrow. I have a few of the Exploding arrow heads, and i will only be using the gold ones, as the copper color ones were not used until Rambo 3. Watch this space guys

Which razorbak arrowheads are the correct arrowheads? The razorbak 5 covers do not have the 5 rings,only 3. Set us strait on this! HELP!!!

Heres a quick up date guys, recieved the heavy brass engraved plaque for my bow display today, now just waiting for the case to be finished.

For years I thought that the inner piece was ribbed rubber, so I made one to this spec, then found out it was in fact material, so another had to be made to screen spec.

A quick update, the display case is ready for collection, this is how im gonna set it out.

Wow, Raven, you've got some interesting stuff there. Are those Jimmy Lile originals? If not, it's rare to see them with the original sheaths with the sharpening stone pockets on the front. I see the butt cap on the Rambo II knife is blacked out, unlike the repros which are silver.
What's that black bandana with the HBO logo on it? Is it literally a promotional bandanna? If so, freakin awesome man. And where did you manage to find the throwing dagger?

I have been obtaining duplicated items for my First Blood costume collection as I have decided to have 3 mannequins wearing the three various stages of attire that Rambo wears in the movie, these being:

1) Opening scene costume jacket, sleeping bag etc

2) Rambo Escape attire, consisting of dirtier clothing gray tank top and tarp.

3) And finally, very dirty clothing, with headband and Colonel Trautmans jacket draped over the shoulders.

I may even consider a bullet belt bandoleer variant too, but at $200 a pop for the mannequins, I might just put that one on hold for the moment.

I have ALL the costume variants now, i just have to save for the other 3 mannequins. I have done very well with the illusion of the grimy sweat covered neck area of the sweatshirt.

I will post pics once I get the mannequins and have everything set up. Like everything else, I'm running a bit behind, but watch this space guys :-)
