Okay times being what they are I need to let this one go.
This is a United Cutlery Rambo II knife bought way back in the day. I have accurized it by sand blasting away the original paint job and putting a very screen accurate one on. The real Lile knives were also bead blasted before the black finish was applied. I have also gotten rid of the stupid Rambo stamp on the side. Rambo appears no where on the knife or sheath.
I have the most SA dead on sheath ever made by Harry. I had him add an extra length to the pull tab on the retention strap and give it a squared off end. Most SA sheaths and even Lile sheaths miss this. I had him do this on my weapons case knife sheath as well.
The Sharpener is the exact same model as used in the film.
I added a heavy duty leather lanyard that, like his, is longer than the knife with three knots. The first being about an inch from the end, the second an inch above that, and the third a bit farther up. Just like his.
I forgot to take a pic of it but the threads on the buttcap are Not painted just like his.
The only stamp I did not remove is the Taiwan stamp on the back of the hand guard. This identifies it as an original United Cutlery knife. The Master Cutlery are made in China and just have the word CHINA painted on the back of the hand guard.
There are a few other subtle differences between the two but considering how valuable the United Cutlery blades have become I wanted to leave the stamp.
Truthfully both the UC and MC are very good replicas that just need better paint jobs. Each has slight inaccuracies and the UC is made from better metal.
The stock UC with an inaccurate sheath is going for $250 these days.
$250 plus shipping.
As always nice comments are welcomed but please no sales advice.
This is what you are getting. (Ignore the speck on the blade. It blew on and then off.)
Real Lile Knife for comparison:
Taiwan stamp. Best pic I could get:
This is all just for reference:
Below the blasted but unfinished United Cutlery Knife with a first attempt painted Master Cutlery Knife:
Stock MC knife and sheath which is about the same as the stock UC.
