I was at a late screening of Rambo in Copenhagen, for my second viewing of Rambo.
I got in the theater just when the commercials began, and it was half full. There was about 300 people.
I looked upon them, and it seemed to be an all-male audience!
I did see a couple of lady's with their (I hope) boyfriends.
I had the feeling, that Rambo is a movie, that someone takes all their best mates to see.
It was a guys night out.
PS: This time the movie was clearly edited...

Edited in what way, man? And it's cool to hear about the audiences going to this instant classic.

Edited? Oh no. Same here, in Italy.

It was edited in some scenes, where there was more blood when i watched it the first time.
Fx the scenes where blood came on the camera. There was none of that on the edited version, i watched on my 2. viewing of Rambo.

Blood on the camera? In Italy, I think the movie went HEAVILY edited, trust me. MISSING seconds here and there, here and there.

Yeah Jay.
On the 1 time i saw Rambo, there was several scenes where people was killed randomly by the Burmese military, and the "blood on cam" effect was used at least 3 or 4 times.
And it was by the way notorius, so it couldnt be mistaken for anything else than pure human blood.

Was the blood darker as well? I've noticed on some workprint clips that the blood effects seem almost de-colourised. Glad to say we got it in it's full glory in the UK but suffered because of Odeon refusing to show it! Gits!

The blood was a little dark yes, but that just makes it more realistic.
I heard about the Odeon trouble with Paramount.
A shame, but things like that can occur. (Is Paramount a blood sucking greedy company?) Please answer! (:
By the way, is the Odeon problem totally fixed now?
