Refurbished Rambo II knife (United Cutlery)

K, so I bought this knife rather cheaply on EBay around 2008-2009. I took some pics back then knowing that this was going to be my project knife. I was able to take it apart and it stayed that way for a while. Here are the before pics. After pics will come later.

Here it is!!! The first one is with a custom made sheath made by Savage Made. He has made all of my sheaths for me (4 of them). And screen accurate sharpener (not painted black though). The second pic is with the sheath you see in the original picture. I took leather dye and refinished it and used tons of Pecards leather dressing on it.

All the parts of the knife itself were sandblasted and then powder coated. I like how everything stayed except I don't like the sawteeth. The powdercoat is too thick and the teeth have lost their sharpness. So I may take it back the powdercoater and have him sandblast the blade and leave it as it is. I had the handle wrapped in leather and it looked pretty good but i think I may wrap it with a green cord like the First Blood knife. The threaded insert that holds the blade to the handle was epoxied in with a two-part epoxy most knifemakers use. It's very very strong.
