I just bought this stuff from a great guy who was a Hope resident, and who was also an extra in the movie First Blood. He played a State Trooper and a National Guard Soldier.
Once I get the Sheriff's cruiser decal, it will be mounted in a frame along with screen caps and a plaque, that Rich (Feezle) has made for me. If you ever need any great plaques made, Rich is your man. backed onto aluminum plate. very professional looking, for a great price!
And then mounted on the wall behind my dummy with the screen used Deputy jacket. These cruiser decals are as rare as rocking horse poopsie, so this is my 40th birthday present to myself, which is coming up in April.
This is a First Blood half-sleeve T-shirt that has been on display at the Hope Museum for the past 5 years, along with the cruiser decal. This wasn't an official product but one of an enterprising entrepreneur who put these out in Hope while the movie was being made, it is in mint condition. This will be framed too.
An extremely rare First Blood V.I.P. button. My friend greg, had to trade to get it from another guy at the time. When the cast and crew would rent the Hope Cabaret or other venue for their private parties these buttons were issued to them so they could freely leave and return while at the same time keeping the locals out. The button is 2.5cm (1”) in diameter. I have never seen another example turn up.
First Blood casting call letter. This letter had a few basic “rules” to be aware of and was issued to extras. It has yellowed some with age and has fold marks but no tares.
So there you have it guys. I'll keep you posted once I mount and frame the items.
This is how the display will kinda look once finished. Will be mounted on white metal (as the cruiser door was white, and the decal is magnetic) which will probably be off an old fridge door I have. Mounted in a black frame.
With various screen grabs of the Sheriffs cruiser, along with the plaque.
