From some great Sly's interviews, given right after the 'RAMBO' release, we know that John's father is full-blooded Indian. Now I'm wondering... if John was born in 1947, and R. Rambo was at least 23 years old at that time, he must have fought the World War II conflict, isn't it? 
I bet he met John's mother in Germany... there's some food for thought here.
