Can you dig a American Indian being a Rambo fan? Aw yes. Just a year younger than Sly. Never missed one movie he ever did, and Rambo is it for me. I was glad to see him bring Rambo back. Rambo is Indian <and German>, so that makes him one of the People. It's what makes him such a good combat soldier. Nothing against you other guys, understand. I'm enrolled in a creative writing class where just about anything goes, and after seeing Rambo IV I wanted to know more about him. What gives after he goes home? The writing is going great and I think I have a good premise. Did some research on IMDB and was led here - thanks, Jay Rambo. Looking forward to more input about this guy - he's the best. An all time hero. We need those nowadays.

Hey, Jay, thanks for the welcome. Yep, I'm here to stay. You might like to know that 'Soquili' literally means 'horse' and my last name in English is Running Horse. Very proud of heritage, yes. ;D I've had 'Rambomania' since I saw the first movie. Even my dad, deceased now, got a bang out of it (WWII vet, earned Bronze Star). My son and I watch our set of DVDs all the time and anxiously await the 4th coming out of DVD. In the meantime, your website is a great place to be. Thanks so much for setting this up for all us die-hard fans. Rambo truly kicks... well, you know!

Soquili, Your dad was a war hero; even my grandpa was a war hero... he also went captured by enemies and spent some time in a prison camp of some sort. What a man! He was very muscular, even when 60 years old. Whoa. Many thanks. I created this place just for us... and your genuine enthusiasm is truly the coin I like to be paid with.

I saw First Blood in the theater upon its release.
I have the latest DVD with Commentary by Sly. He says several other actors either started in the role or decided they wouldn't play John Rambo. Interesting.

Hey all. I drifted in to this site from the Phantasm boards. I love just about every kind of movie and I'm a fan of all the Rambo films except for the third. That one just got a little too over the top for my liking. Loved the new! ;D

Yo,
My name is Badre "Bobby" Bally, I've been a fan of the franchise for years. I currently live in the UK but I used to live in Egypt. Rambo was something of a cult figure back in Egypt, I remember an Egyptian publication group used to publish Rambo adventure books, I think they were made in Egypt.

Hi Bobby. (:
Those Rambo adventure books sound rather exciting. Are they available anywhere on the internet?
