Hi Bobby. (: Those Rambo adventure books sound rather exciting. Are they available anywhere on the internet? I don't think they are, I doubt they're in the market anymore I bought some of those books like in the early 90's and looking back on them, they weren't anything special except that it proved how popular Rambo was/is in many Arabic countries.

Yo, My name is Badre "Bobby" Bally, I've been a fan of the franchise for years. I currently live in the UK but I used to live in Egypt. Rambo was something of a cult figure back in Egypt, I remember an Egyptian publication group used to publish Rambo adventure books, I think they were made in Egypt. Whoa, Bobby, welcome aboard. Egypt? For Christs sake, is there a place on Earth where Johnny is NOT popular?! I would like to read one of those books (or all of them) just for the sake of it. Call it "guilty pleasure", if you want.

A lot of extreme nationalists in the US refuse to believe it but muslims in places like Egypt, Turkey, Dubai, Kuwait and even Saudi Arabia love US heroes like Rambo and Superman. Well, to be honest I don't consider Rambo to be a US propaganda since they were times Rambo didn't get along well with the government and especially of how the US military was portrayed in Rambo II.

EW,
As you already know, Rambo is an anarchist, a dangerous and pissed off anti-government rebel, an absolute outsider. Sometimes people don't realize that Rambo is the dark side of America. And he (John) pretty much knows that.

Yo. I'm from the Stallonezone. Been a Rambo fan since I saw Rambo III when I was a kid, and have been hooked on the franchise since. I saw that Jay had been promoting this site, and I had to join. A site devoted to Rambo is nothing but total coolness.

In short, Rambo is #5 on my list of Greatest Films of All Time.
Why? Because it's the greatest action film ever made, flawless and I believe a film by genre should be judged.
My favourite Rambo films is still Part II though.

'RAMBO: FIRST BLOOD PART II' is the defining chapter in the series, no doubts.
Welcome!

Saynt, I pretty much know you, brother. I'm glad you have joined. Many thanks! Thanks for devoting a forum to Rambo. Rambo is the best action hero. Ever. And I am also glad that you agree with me on Rambo III being the most epic action movie ever made.
