Not to mix another thread with this one, but i think it might be, because of the lack of ladys. You're right. I think 'RAMBO' (the film) has no female audience.

Just saw it again today, the cinema was about half full. Not bad seeing it's been out for a few weeks now.

I actually always see LOTS of girls, of all ages ranging from 18, to middle aged women coming to see Rambo, all 3 times I've seen it, hell my friend Michelle loved it. I think women actually connect with Rambo better then most think, he's not your typical "guns, boobs and rock n roll" action star, he has alot of depth, and doesn't need a whole lotta flash to grip you into the movie.

Its released in the UK and Ireland, and I assume the rest of Europe tomorrow, so here's hoping it'll do well. I for one will be having several viewings of it.
Hopefully it will break the 100m mark. Rambo III did so this one should too.

I totally agree. One thing that I've always thought was cool about the Rambo series is that women were never used as accessories. Co had an active role and was fairly badass in her own right and Sarah was very brave and independant...Neither of them were one-dimensional characters that were just in the movie to run around half naked and be a lust/love interest.

Everyone here,
'RAMBO' was doomed from the start. It's an ultra-violent movie, and a political one. Plus, the franchise has been sleeping for 20 years, and RAMBO is still seen as a bad model for youngs.
100 is the final mark, then: DVD sales.
