Can't believe this question hasn't been asked on here yet.
Anyway I really wanna go with Rambo's knife but it seems too Jason Voorhees-like instead of John Rambo. So I gotta go with III's knife. It's a beautiful piece of weaponary.

I went with First Blood - just his knife to keep him company on his long road, complete with handy-dandy extras like needle/thread and compass!
I also loved the new one in Rambo. It kinda reflected the man himself - rugged, hulking and damaging.

'RAMBO III'. A perfect hybrid between a classic military knife and a machete, wherever the one in 'RAMBO' is a large machete.
What knife is really longer? 'RAMBO III' or 'RAMBO'?

I reckon so. I wanna actually buy all 4 knives and put them in a glass case for display one day. Same goes for the Walter handguns 007 used over the years and an American Boxing glove and a USSR boxing glove to represent Rocky IV.

Great idea, Raven. Where could you find detailed infos on the comparison between the 'RAMBO III' knife and the 'RAMBO' one? This is your mission, soldier. Report here.

Hey guys.
Did you know that the gap in the blade on the knife from Rambo III is because the knife designer had talked about have a smaller, almost wing shaped piece that would sit in there. This would be released by a little clip button that was on the knife.
Sly decided it wouldn't look right but the hole in the blade remained.
Also talking about the knives did you guys notice that on the hilt of the knife from First Blood Part II, one edge is a flat head screw driver and the other a philips. How wicked is that!

Whoa. How do you know all these things? By the way, I had already noticed about the hilt of the knife in 'RAMBO:FBP2' in recent days.
(that's why Rambo contemplates it so much time, in the beginning. He was pleased).

I was bored looking around the web one day and decided to see how much a Rambo knife would be. I'd only want a pucker one and they are a little expensive now (as well as being illegal in the UK I believe). It was a guy called Gil Hibben who designed the knife in Rambo III. Have a look at this link and it will give a little explanation and even show pictures of the prototype I mentioned. www.hibbenknives.com/MovieKnives.htmEnjoy!
